Congratulations to RAIL thoracic imaging team led by Drs. Paul Yi and Cheng Ting Lin on receiving a 2019 RSNA Trainee Research Prize for best resident paper in Emergency Radiology! The paper is titled “Can AI Outperform a Junior Resident? Comparison of Deep Neural Network to First-Year Radiology Residents for Identification of Pneumothorax.”
The team, which also consists of Tae Kyung (Tony) Kim, a 3rd-year medical student at Johns Hopkins, Hopkins radiology residents, Drs. Alice Yu & Bradford Bennett, and Dr. John Eng, Professor of Radiology, will receive the prize at the 2019 RSNA Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL.
In addition to the above paper, RAIL will be presenting 5 additional podium presentations and 2 poster presentations at the RSNA meeting.
